Hi, I'm Marissa

I was born in the wrong era. I’m what you would call an “old soul.” I’m very quiet and laid back. I’m an extremely hard worker and completely family-oriented. I truly feel that this frame of mind reflects in my art.

I capture the essence and timelessness of traditional family photography. Creating memories should be effortless.

I graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts & Photography. While studying, as well as helping in the school's own photo lab, I began my professional career working for Mom365 at University Hospitals photographing newborns. I continued there for 5 years while also photographing for other hospitals and charities.

I went on to follow my passion for the arts by working at Dodd Camera where I found my niche in digital post-production and design. I continued to pursue my independent photography, specializing in family sessions and events. I have become a specialist in many aspects of digital production and have had the privilege of passing on my passion by running my own photo lab and teaching classes on all aspects

of photography.

While pregnant with my son, I had the grand idea to go back to school to really hone my graphic design skills. I completed the Graphic Design program through The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online. It was the best decision ever!

I currently work at Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More in Avon, OH as a graphic designer. Being able to use my creativity daily has been the most rewarding job ever.
